Whenever you are walking through your home or office and suddenly you get hit by wall or any other hard thing or it causing pain, then it must be a soft tissue injury.
To overcome this pain we use RICE (Not eatable rice) RICE is a mnemonic which stand for Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. We need to take that part on rest. Use of ice on injured part will reduce the swelling and inflammation. Compression with bandage also reduce the swelling. And lastly, we should elevate that injured part above to the heart level to reduce lymphatic drainage.
After some time. RICE become PRICE (Not the actual price of any thing) means P added in front of RICE and that P stand for Protection means protection of injured part is also necessary.
Again updation happens in PRICE and becomes POLICE. In which there is no space for Rest because researches shows that rest causes complications in the injured part so we avoid rest and OL in POLICE stand for Optimal Loading means that we have to move our injured part rather than taking rest.
But now POLICE becomes old and the updated version of this 2024 is PEACE & LOVE.

C – Compress
E – Educate
&
L – Load
O – Optimism
V – Vascularisation
E – Exercise
We need to take all these steps to increase the healing process of Injury and reduce the pain.
